This Research Group focuses on Enhancing the Quality of Life in Edentulous Patients and is dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals who have lost teeth. Our interdisciplinary team employs both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to explore the multifaceted impacts of edentulism on daily living. We focus on developing and validating condition-specific scales to assess health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in this population. Additionally, we investigate the psychological effects of tooth loss and the experiences of caregivers, aiming to inform interventions that address both physical and mental health needs. By synthesizing research from diverse studies, our goal is to identify key trends and outcomes related to edentulous patients’ quality of life, ultimately guiding future research and enhancing patient care.
